NATURAL UDU
Offering a complete set of traditional udu techniques, with a great range of velocity layers and many alternate articulations.
The resulting instruments are easy to play, highly expressive and gorgeous-sounding!
All patches offer realistic grooves and fill-ins, and the mod wheel functions let you instantly perform rhythm variations and rolls: super fun :)
MAGIC UDU
Based on extra samples with up to 46 round-robins. The MAGIC UDU presets offer world-class realism.
You simply press a key, and it just sounds like a musician grooving and improvising, with constant little natural variations: You’re going to love these ‘magic udus’ and use them a lot!
PREPARED UDU
Using seeds, stones, cloth, mallets, brushes, rattlers, shakers and other clay and wood objects, a unique set of ‘prepared udu’ samples was recorded.
The resulting sounds include fresh organic percussions, earthly and raw textures, and captivating tonal sounds.
The samples are programmed into a Kontakt percussion kit that is super creative and very inspiring: it’s fun to play rhythms with unheard acoustic sounds that are so raw and natural.
SOUND DESIGN INSTRUMENTS
As always with LDLC libraries, you’ll also get many useful udu presets from raw and punchy to ethereal and cinematic.
The library also offers a ’sound design kit’ with a whole range of unique pitched, reversed and processed percussion sounds.
5 presets let you create wonderful raw acoustic textures evocating the sounds of nature.
A range of modern presets based on granular sampling offer unique cutting-edge sounds.
MELODIC INSTRUMENTS
You’ll also find a unique collection of melodic patches based on the most tonal samples.
The samples were finely tuned to the closest pitch, and their playing range was extended over 4 octaves.
