QUENA LIGHT
A realistic Kontakt instrument based on a Bolivian traditional flute
This virtual instrument was created by Camille de Grasset and Lucas Barbier during a training course about sampling and virtual instruments directed by Julien Tauban (loops de la crème) in the Studios Palace, Moulins, France.
A full octave of sustained notes was recorded, along with various velocity layers for attacks. The microphone used was a AKG C480B with a MK63 hypercardioid capsule.
The instrument can be played over two octaves, with an extra note to play the musician breathing.
Three realistic patches are included, along with a ‘Poly’ patch that lets you play chords.
All samples are mono or stereo WAV, 48kHz, 24bit
Please use the full commercial version of Kontakt 5.3+. The instruments will load in demo mode with the free Kontakt Player.
