About Loops de la Crème
Bonjour!
My name is Julien Tauban, I’m a musician, sound designer, and the owner of Loops de la Crème.
I started this sample library project in 2011 with a simple mission: to provide top ‘crème de la crème’ sound quality at the best possible value.
To me, ‘crème de la crème’ means QUALITY, CRAFTMANSHIP & CREATIVITY.
My first sample library, the donationware Clap Pack is now used worldwide by over 40.000 music producers of all levels, you should get it too :)
In the beginning, it was simply a side project, but it has turned into a full-time (dream) job, and I still run Loops de la Crème alone.

From recording samples to programming fun and useful instruments, I get to do lots of different tasks and there are constantly new things to learn.
I record and edit every single sample with tons of care and love, and try to create unique sample packs and instruments with a focus on usefulness and originality.
I’m constantly looking for new sounds and collect all kinds of instruments: I started music at the age of 9, and must have over 600 instruments now! It’s really a passion and dedication to music and sound, and I’m happy to share this here at Loops de la Crème.
I also provide samples and do consulting for other companies in the industry, and it’s been amazing to get to work with companies like Universal Audio, Wave Alchemy, Ujam, Soundslates, or Ninebuzz.
I currently live in Moulins, France, where I also teach Sampling workshops, run OP1 Essentials, and compose and produce music.
